However, in the instance of any unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from your supports team-your Coordinator of Supports, Direct Support Workers or other stakeholders-we will step down from the team.
Our levels of experience and the specialist knowledge we have is backed by our ongoing commitment to professional learning and engagement with professional supervision and registration.
We will not enter into or maintain therapeutic relationships with anyone, if there are disrespectful behaviors or threats of control over budgets, payments for services rendered or a disagreement about our role. Direct supports are required to be engaged and provide feedback on therapy strategies recommended by iThriveOT.
iThriveOT will work with you, the client, to develop and work on therapy plans for your growth.

iThriveOT is a niche community that helps you work towards your goals. We offer over 50 years combined experience as clinical directors. We expect outcomes.
Just as you seek professionalism from us, we require commitment and hard work from you. As the NDIS allocation of funds gets tighter, we need you and your supports to work with us to implement therapy strategies.
We don't offer one off Functional Capacity Assessments. We offer an arena for exploring, investigating and assessing your strengths and challenges so we can make meaningful recommendations for you.
Consultation, strategies and ideas trials, recommendations for a plan and with timeframes for results-you won't need us forever and that is what we strive for.
Occupational Therapist
Luisa is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years' experience in public health and private practice.
Luisa offers a specialized service in the areas of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Assessment, sexuality and disability intervention, neurodevelopmental deficits and learning disabilities, sensory assessment and addressing the concerns and challenges of the individual.
Luisa supports the development of communication for safety, inclusion and shared understanding. A recent course at CPEC enabled Luisa to understand the movements required for communication and the intricacies of supporting AAC and communication development. She has completed introductory PODD training through AGOSCI.
Her commitment to the First Nations People and their health and disability outcomes has grown and is embedded in her work. Her time within the community of Bowraville and Kempsey, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie (Bowraville Solution Brokerage Health Project Lead and as Strategic District Renal Manager across MNCLHD) enabled hands on insight and exposure to just some areas of need for Aboriginal People.
Luisa is passionate about youth in the justice space. She supports young people from diverse and traumatized backgrounds to work towards a safer future. Collaborating with the justice system, NDIS and other stakeholders to facilitate the change for young people.
Luisa also holds a Cert 4 Training and Assessment, and a Grad Cert in Clinical Redesign and is a qualified and experienced OT Driving Assessor.
Registered Nursing and Allied Health Assistant
Ray is a Registered Nurse who holds a qualification in Diabetes Education and a Master's in Public Health. Ray is passionate about building health literacy of our clients, maintaining good health in the community and working alongside the OT to develop innovative and skills-based programs that don't feel like therapy-but are engaging and get outcomes.
Ray is the wound care master, assessment and management.
Ray is instrumental in the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder assessment process, supporting the multidisciplinary assessment.
Ray moonlights as an Allied Health Assistant (OT) and his educational and nursing background make him second to none for supporting the therapeutic process and working towards your outcomes.
Ray holds a Cert 4 Training and Assessment.
